Description
Includes Burrough's graduation essay of 1877 ("The compression of medicinal powders"), and a cash notebook for 1878-9. However, the majority of the personal material relates to the latter years of Burroughs life and, in particular, to his sudden death in Monte Carlo in 1895, including his Last Will and Testament, matters concerning his estate, obituaries, a Burroughs memorial, and reminiscences.
