Description

52 artworks made by patients suffering from tuberculosis, most of whom were in hospitals and sanatoriums, quite a number of whom were terminally ill. The artworks were made, under the guidance of Rita Simon, between the years 1940 and 1960. The subject matter of the artworks is very varied but common themes are landscapes, hospital life and imaginary scenes.
