About this work

Description

In 1954, Eric Miller began work at Ludlow Mill in Chengail, India. This followed Miller's work of the Harvard Project at Ludlow Jute Co in America. Miller's work was concerned with improving efficiency and worker relations at the mill, and was undertaken by studying the different jobs at the mill and how individuals interacted with each other and with their work tasks.
