Description
This green ledger-type cashbook contains records of chemicals and equipment ordered and received between 25 May and 26 October 1940 for the large scale growing and isolation of penicillin. Heatley noted that two similar books had been lost. Includes "Notes on Yeast Extracts". See "Oxford Vol VI" (PP/NHE/A/2/1/4) for relevant experiments.
