Promotional bookmark printed on white card advertising Aplin & Barrett's Ivelcon beef extract and St. Ivel cheese possibly from the 1890s. It includes an offer for a "two-handled consommé cup, with saucer, in real English china." The front depicts a pretty young woman with brown hair in a red coat with white fur trimmings and muff in a green hat and ice-skating boots sitting on a wooden chair on ice, with a small pack of Ivelcon in her lap.

Number 16 in a series of 50 chromolitho cards issued by Thomas Holloway advertising Holloway's Pills and Holloway's Ointment. Each card consisted of about 3 images showing typified aspects of life and sports in a certain country. This one shows people dancing round a maypole and picnicking in the foreground, a rowing boat on the water of a fjord and a couple skating while snow falls.

Calendar blotter for November and December 1933 issued by Fairchild Brothers & Foster and their UK agents, Burroughs, Wellcome & Co. advertising 'Pepsencia', a "fluid 'pepsin' preparation ... [which] contains the entire soluble constituents, organic and inorganic of the stomach glands, all the various complex catalytic constituents... an entire gastric juice extract" promoted "as a vehicle to promote the toleration of drugs, and as a digestant". This would have been one of a series of blotters sent out to members of the medical profession every 2 months. The blotters have a small line illustration above the calendar grid of something relating to that time of year or something in a themed series. In this case 4 people are skating on a frozen pond watched by a fifth. There are 2 willows on the far bank.

Colour trade card advertising Soapona detergent. The image on the card is of a boy in green trousers and jacket with a red scarf and a girl in a fur-lined long, indigo, hooded coat ice skating. Text on the back: "Saves time, expense and labor. Makes hard water soft. Does not injure the hands or clothes. Makes Linen perfectly white. Is a great disinfectant. Each package contains a set of handsome picture cards."
