Description

Number 16 in a series of 50 chromolitho cards issued by Thomas Holloway advertising Holloway's Pills and Holloway's Ointment. Each card consisted of about three images showing typified aspects of life and sports in a certain country. This one shows people dancing round a maypole and picnicking in the foreground, a rowing boat on the water of a fjord and a couple skating while snow falls.
