Correspondence between M P Statham and Penrose, consisting of 3 letters, a handwritten letter from Penrose asking if records of births and deaths in Brandon and Euston in the eighteenth century are kept at the Record Office, and a reply from Statham informing that the registers were sent to the Diocesian Registrar, both letters dated April 1956; and another letter from Statham asking if Penrose would like to speak to a reporter from The Bury Free Press about his research.
