Description
Comprises a typescript lecture, transmission script from a BBC radio programme, and article published in The Listener on "The Porcupine Man", offprints and typed transcriptions of extracts from articles and books referring to the condition Ichthyosis hystrix, data collected from parish registers and other sources on the Lambert family of Suffolk, who were well-known sufferers of the condition through three generations and were exhibited in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, photographs, and correspondence relating to the joint investigation by Penrose and Curt Stern into the history of the Lambert family.
