Royal College of Surgeons. 1955 to 1960

Series consists of experiment result notebooks and experiment result papers belonging to Vane, from the early years of Vane's time at The Royal College of Surgeons (1955-1960). Vane returned to the UK from Yale University in 1955 and took up a position in W.D.M. Paton's department of pharmacology at the Institute of Basic Medical Sciences of the University of London, which was eventually located at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London. Vane gained a chair in 1966, and remained there until 1973.
