Correspondence between Reverand S H Cartwright and Penrose, consisting of seven letters, regarding Penrose's intention to search the parish registers at Moulton for information on the ancesty of Samuel Lambert. Includes a list of dates of baptisms and marriages discovered by Cartwright, written on the reverse of Penrose's initial letter of enquiry to Dr. Hood, Cartwright's predecessor.
