This Sub-Committee of the Establishment and General Purposes Committee was set up in 1955 ‘to consider the names of members to be honoured in the Commemorative Book’. The Sub-Committee met in Feb and Jun 1955, and after further discussion the Establishment and General Purposes Committee recommended to Council that an illuminated book should be maintained with short biographies of physiotherapists who had ‘given outstanding service to the Society’. Local Boards were invited to submit suitable names.
