The common prayer-book, the best companion to prepare communicants for a worthy receiving the Lord's Supper: being a preparatory office, collected out of the liturgy of the Church of England. Containing Every Thing necessary to be known or done on this solemn Occasion: To which are prefixed, three Discourses on the following Subjects: Discourse I. On the dignity of the Holy Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. - The method of receiving it in St. Paul's time. - The reason why so many in the present age neglect the Lord's Supper. - The great danger that those are in, who never come to the Holy Sacrament. Discourse II. Of the mercifulness of God to penitent sinners, evinced from the words of our Saviour. - The qualifications of such as are to receive this mercy and pardon. - The end for which God proposes to give us his pardon. Discourse III. Of the necessity of a due preparation for the Lord's Supper. - The scruple concerning Unworthiness removed. - How a man may be satisfied that he is prepared, according to what God requires of him. Revised and corrected by a clergyman of the Church of England. To the whole of which is added, the Book of Psalms, digested into prayers and Meditations, very useful in conducting us to those best adapted to our present Occasions; and necessary to be added to our other Devotions.

The Scheme of the present Lottery being entirely different from any former one, - Ten Thousand tickets less, - The Public are requested to observe, that Five Hundred Thousand Pounds (the usual Amount of the Prize-Money) is divided amongst 40,000, instead of 50,000 Tickets, and that there are more Prizes than Blanks in this Lottery, when, in most former ones, there have been from Two to Three Blanks to a Prize. And divided into Half, Fourth, Eighth, and Sixteenth, shares, At their Licensed State-Lottery Offices, No. 104, Bank-Buildings, Cornhill, and No. 8, opposite the King's Mews, Charing-Cross.

Model of London and Westminster. Signor Grimani, Professor of mathematicks, begs leave to acquaint the public, that he has now compleated, after three years labour, a model of London and Westminster, which he has endeavoured to render as perfect as possible. Every Object is represented in its natural Colours; so that any Person may, at first View, distinguish their own Street and House. The Model is eighty-eight Feet in Circumference; and the Squares, the Churches, the Public Buildings, and the circumjacent Country, form a most striking and agreeable Scene. Signor Grimani intends, in a short Time, to carry this curious Model into Foreign Parts; but first he proposes to exhibit it to public View, for a few Weeks at the Fantoccini Room, in Panton-Street, in the Hay-Market, which is elegantly fitted up for that Purpose. - The Hours of exhibiting are from Eleven in the Morning, 'till Three in the Afternoon; and from Six, 'till Nine in the Evening, every Day, 'till farther Notice.
