Extracts (photocopies) from the personal diary of N G Heatley for the period 30 Sep 1939 to 26 Jun 1941.

An earlier version of PP/NHE/C/1/4/1 which covers some of Heatley's experimental research at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, Oxford, including penicillin experiments. The attatched note by Heatley dated January 1980, explains his organisation of the diary entries into three groupings (in C/1/4).
