Pen and ink drawing of an incident in the life of Francis Sacheverell Darwin, drawn by Miss Darwin, captioned: "F S D confined to bed from the bite of a Dog suddenly Barks & [ ] to frighten his Mother & Mr H H H[ ]son who both roll down stairs Mr H's spurs catching in Mrs Ds clothers. Dr D comes out of his study thinking of Hydrophobia."
