Biographical note

The School at Guy's was founded by Mr. Trethowen, the Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, and Sir Cooper Perry, the Superintendant in 1913. In 1921, the School moved into its own purpose built building, Shepherd House, in which it remained till its closure in 1992.
