Description
Correspondence regarding the development and commercialisation of Swiss-Prot and intellectual property matters. The file also includes a draft agreement between the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics, Geneva Bioinformatics and EMBL-EBI. Swiss-Prot was created in 1986 and developed by the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and later the European Bioinformatics Institute (EML-EBI). It became a sub-part of UniPropKB after its launch in 2003.
