Biographical note

In January 1984 a grant was made by the Health Education Council (HEC) to enable Dr. John Ashton of the University of Liverpool Department of Community Health to set up research in the area of adolescent personal relationships and sexuality, under the title of the Liverpool Project. The North-West branch of the FPA was involved in the project, along with a number of other organisations and individuals.
