Five letters from Sir George Howard Darwin concerning Darwin family genealogy, Erasmus Darwin, and the identity of a portrait from the family's Chatham property. The letters are addressed to a "Miss Galton, 5 Bertie Terrace, Leamington". Also included is a note in a different hand concerning the possible origin and identity of the Chatham portrait.
