Description
Several carte de visite photographs (unidentified), prescriptions, devotional literature. Includes 2 items relating to the army surgeon Pulteney Mein (presumably the father of Annie Mein who married Thomas Bowlby), a letter from Arthur Wellesley, Seringapatam, concerning payment for his attendance on the sick, 5 Feb 1800, and a letter to him from Sir John Moore, 25 Jan 1808, also a letter from Capt Grahame Moore, RN, to John Syme of Dumfries, re naval battle in the Channel, 3 May 1804.
Some items undated.
