Biographical note

Jean Astruc occupied one of the chairs of Medicine at Montpellier from 1722 to 1728.

Ownership note

Several items (noted separately) from the Berhard VI Collection. MS.1011 has the ex-libris of "J. M. Pourcin Manuescensis D. M. M." pasted inside each of the covers. he was perhaps the writer of this MS. when a student. MS.7332 has the inscription "Ex libris Joannis Marchon Doctoris Medici 1724"at f. 3v.
