Description

Tractatus de febribus. Tractatus de morbis mulierum. Brevis expositio morborum infimi ventris per summaria capita. The 2 ll. after the first tract contain remedies 'pour la phthisie', in French by another hand. The 13 ll. at the end of the second book contain a note on rheumatism and its treatment, in Latin, followed by receipts in French, by later hands, in which on the 13th leaf is the date 1809. The unnumbered leaves following the last work consist of a note 'De arthritide'. Produced in Paris.

1 volume 148 pp. + 2 ll. + 252 pp. + 13 ll. + 204 pp. + 12 ll. last bl.. 8vo. 18 x 13 cm. Original calf binding. The first fly-leaf, which is slightly damaged by worm, contains the inscription 'Authore Domino Astruc'.

Inside the cover 'J'ai commencé ce traité à la fin d'août 1756'. The MS. is written by the same hand as that of the two Astruc & Lazerme MSS. [Nos. 1017 and 1018] and the two Lazerme MSS. [Nos. 3196 and 3197]. All these MSS. are in uniform binding.
