Description
The letters of condolence over McMichael's illness continue, although they decline over time, whilst invitations to undertake work or attend lectures and social gatherings do not. He was still able to dictate a few sentences to his wife, and sign the odd letter with his left hand at this stage, but not to write articles, give lectures or attend long engagements.
