Correspondence between Frank Ellis and Penrose, consisting of 11 letters, mainly concerning meetings and memoranda relating to the Ministry of Labour Advisory Panel on the genetic effects of radiation in industry. Also contains a letter from Penrose, dated May 1949, regarding the family background of radiologists, and a memorandum from January 1946 on the effect of radiation in the production of congenital abnormalities.
