Description
A painting by psychiatric patient 12 depicting the patient with deformed hands with pencil inscriptions about rheumatoid arthritis. According to Rita Simon, when in conversation with Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997 ""The writing shows a movement towards thinking, and movement is the whole aim of therapy".
The title has been taken from wording written on the verso.
