Description

Two folders of notes relating to the history of computing in Wellcome. The files were originally created in 1991 for an article in a staff magazine to celebrate 25 years since the first computer was acquired by Wellcome Foundation. It is apparent that the files were added to subsequently.

Folder 1: ms notes of the history of computing; photocopies of booklets; draft of leaflet "An Introduction to The Wellcome Computer Centre"; and reports of interviews with Richard Mann; Mike Hanscombe and Boyd Gregory; Tony Scott, Dave Frost, Les Davey; Brian Jones; Kevin Jesson.

Folder 2: press cuttings and articles from internal magazines and external newspapers relating to computing within Wellcome Foundation.
