Description

Correspondence and full programme details for an EMBO Advanced Study Course on 'Molecular Genetics of Higher Organisms', held at the Institut de Biologie Moléculaire, Paris, 18-30 September, 1972.

Crick delivered a lecture ("Some Ideas About Chromosome Structure and How To Test Them") on 29 September, for which there are two sheets of notes (holograph).

The file includes a single notepad with the title "EMBO - Paris - Chromosomes etc" and the date "Sept. 72". The pad contains extensive notes (holograph) made by Crick on speakers, beginning with John Bishop, "Kinetics of molecule hybridization" on the morning of 27 September, 1972.

The file includes a poster (14" x 101/2") for the event.
