About this work

Description

Unbalanced Robertsonian translocation 46,XY,t(21;21). This male has a chromosomal disorder. One chromosome 21 has become attached to all or part of another chromosome 21. As there is also a second intact chromosome 21, the cell contains a surplus of genetic information, and the translocation is said to be unbalanced.
