Description

Correspondence regarding a visit to Washington University, St Louis, 2-6 March, 1980, where Crick delivered the Ferguson Lecture ("Human DNA") on 5 March. In addition, Crick gave two seminars ("Selfish DNA" and "Supercoiled DNA").

The file comprises correspondence, and two Washington University publications containing:

Crick, "State of the art," Washington University Magazine, 50: 3 (1980), 3-8 (the published version of the Ferguson Lecture, with photographs);

and W U Record (28 February, 1980), in which the first page features a news report (with photograph) on Crick's visit to Washington University.
