Correspondence regarding a visit to University of California, Los Angeles, as Visiting Medical Lecturer, to deliver a biochemistry seminar ("Positional Information in Biological Tissues") on 21 January, 1971, and the 16th Annual Lecture ("Some Prospects in Developmental Biology") delivered on the following day, 22 January, in the Grand Ballroom (capacity, 1000).

The file also contains a brief review (cutting, UCLA Monthly Newsletter, January 1971) of an exhibition of lithographs - based on the genetic code - by June Wayne, then showing at UCLA Art Galleries. The cutting reproduces an image entitled Burning Helix.
