Correspondence between J H Hargreaves, Regional Secretary of the Association of Hospital Management Committees, and Penrose regarding requests for Penrose to attend meetings of the Sheffield Branch to discuss the issue of sterilisation of patients with severe learning difficulties. Penrose is finally able to accept an invitation to the meeting in March 1959.
