Photograph of a drawing by S. van Hoogstraten, of a group of women caring for a woman after childbirth. This reproduction was made during the VI International Congress for the History of Medicine held in Leiden 1927 at the Exposition d'art Medico-Historique and is described as Dessin [Drawing] 35, L'accouchement, in the exhibition catalogue. A copy of Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum as PHO 9439.
