About this work

Description

Correspondence regarding the annual Summer School on Molecular and Cell Biology, held at Spetsai, Greece, 20 August - 2 September, 1975. The general theme of the programme for 1975 was 'The Molecular Biology of Animal Viruses'.

A page of notes on flight times suggests that Crick flew from Rome to Athens on 19 August, returning to London around 26 August. Crick provided 'Opening Remarks' at the welcome party on the evening of 20 August.

The file comprises a programme of events, a list of participants and their interests (Crick's are listed as "chromosomes" and "beautiful things"), and a set of abstracts.
