WPRL reply (30 August, 1932): "Since we adopted the dried virus in place of the wet virus some 2½ years ago the number of dogs which have been inoculated amount to several thousand and the number of complaints we have received run out at about 1%". Further correspondence on the inoculation of three puppies. Includes abstract from a letter from Miss Woodward MRCVS on "the troubles she had experienced in the dogs she inoculated against distemper for Lady Burton" (19 December, 1933).
