Description
Letters between Elchon Hinden, Thorpe Coombe Maternity Hospital, and Penrose regarding palm prints and analysis of a skin culture from an infant patient with suspected congenital disorder. Encloses karyograms, a chromosomal report from skin specimen by the Galton Laboratory, notes on family medical history, and palm prints and drawings of the dermal ridge main lines from the patient and his family.
Also includes two letters from Helen Lang-Brown to the patient's mother arranging an appointment with Penrose, and a letter from Penrose to Dr Gordon Dutton regarding analysis of skin culture from the patient's sister, a microcephalic at South Ockendon Hospital.
