Description

Holograph oddments: (1) Draft of a letter, dated 14/2/1918, referring to his book War story of the Canadian Army Medical Corps (1 l.). (2) Memoranda, partly written in blue pencil, for his Paper on "Diphtherial infection of wounds" (3 ll.). This was published in the Canadian Bulletin of the C.A.M.C. in June 1918. (3) Lithographed copy of words and melody of a Christmas Carol "When Christ our Saviour came to earth" by Adami, set to music by Charles Hamilton Gould [ -1925] n.d. (2 ll.). (4) Holograph MS. of the first two pages of his Paper "The Eternal Spirit in Nature" [1926] (2 ll.). This was written for the Church Congress at Southport in October 1926. In her "Memoir" Mrs. Adami states that "he was discussing its argument and dictating its concluding paragraphs up to within three days of his death, and the paper was read two months later" (p. 99).
