Subscriptions and founding membership

Papers mainly to do with subscription and renewal. Includes renewals for 1986-1987 indicating type of Health Concern membership (members, observer members and individual members or mailing list members) and amount of subscription. There are also two membership lists, one indicating paid subscriptions and associated dates and the other a list of member organisations divided into three sections (professional organisations, trade unions and voluntary or patient organisations). Papers include correspondence from various organisations regarding founder membership and level (observer or full members); these are loosely grouped into papers to do with professional organisations, trade unions and patient or voluntary organisations.

Also contains some correspondence with an organisation called 'Public Health Alliance' with some debate about the wisdom of a merger with Health Concern that was turned down in the end.
