Correspondence between Jérome Lejeune and Penrose, consisting of 3 letters, regarding a case of Down's syndrome reported by Ilbery et al. in the Medical Journal of Australia, July 1961, in which Penrose doubted the diagnosis and requested information on palm prints which were first sent to Lejeune. Lejeune encloses his dermatoglyphic analysis and a scheme for chromosome 21.
