- C0007936 - Sculptor Richard Bray working on a Turkey Oak tree felled by lightning. The artwork is based on the double-helical structure of DNA and incorporates carvings that represent the genome sequencing work, March 2000.

- C0007937 - The European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, which makes available electronic genetic databases to the scientific community worldwide, March 2000.

Conceived and directed by Professor Helen Storey, former fashion designer, and now Research Fellow at the London Institute, Mental was developed in partnership with scientist Dr. John McLachlan, Director of the Peninsular Medical School, Plymouth. Visitors to the exhibition were invited to interact with four figures; play with Whisper, stroke and touch First, Last, Everything, write on Amygdala's pages and consider the Death Dresses.

Yerma's Eggs conceived, written and directed by Anna Furse is an exploration into bio-ethics via the poetry of multi-media theatre. This experimental performance focuses on issues surrounding infertility and ART (artificial reproduction technology). With a company of six actors, specially composed music, video projection and the participation of fertility expert Simon Fishel, Yerma's Eggs charts some exciting, poetic strategies for exploring controversial science and unspeakable feelings.
