About this work
Description
This was an industrial relations project undertaken by Fred Emery and Simon Baddeley on behalf of the Tavistock Institute in order to mobilise the seamen of Irish Shipping to pursue the mission of the organisation. The project followed similar themes to later shipping projects, including Jebsens (see SA/TIH/B/2/52), such as democratisation of the workplace and community on board ship. Includes correspondence and conference feedback papers.
