About this work
Description
9 January, 1894. Wyeth to Burroughs Wellcome & Co, advising that order for 50 gallons Dialysed Iron has been shipped by steamer to Liverpool. Advises that all future orders should be made via Mr Horton (at least that is the apparent intention of the last sentence of the letter, although the mistaken inclusion of "not" in the sentence suggests otherwise).
26 January, 1894. Burroughs to Radford & Frankland, referring to Wyeth's letter of 9 January, in which Wyeth "are evidently acting under legal advice and desiring to establish it as a precedent that we recognise their agent here [Horton] as their sole selling agent...."
26 January, 1894. Burroughs Wellcome & Co to Wyeth, referring to Horton's role as agent.
20 February, 1894. Philadelphia, Theodore Barrett to Burroughs, enclosing a letter (present in the file) from Edward H Weil (Wyeth's American solicitor) advising that all correspondence should henceforth be addressed to Wyeth's attorneys in London, Messrs Collyer-Bristow, Hill & Co.
3, 4, 5 and 6 October, 1894. Four letters from Horton to Burroughs, agreeing to an appointment with Burroughs "to hear the statements you desire to make to me...." (letter, 3 October).
