Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest: shock due to the passage of bullet through the head, 28 Nov 1941; aspirin poisoning, 3 Dec 1941; judicial execution, 3 Dec 1941; barbiturate poisoning, 6 Dec 1941
