The file comprises:
14 December, 1907, small typed note from H A D Jowett to Perrédès, asking him to make a note of any errors or omissions while scrutinising the B P Codex, "anything grotesque, or that a little gentle fun might be made out of" [1 sheet, ts];
2 April, 1908, small typed note ("Re Ergot de Diss") from H A D Jowett to Perrédès, asking whether the fungus Ampelodesmus tenax grows in parts of the world in addition to Algiers, the British Council there having been unable to obtain supplies [1 sheet, ts];
[April, 1908], a brief note in Perrédès's hand - Ampelodesmus tenax "is found also in Corsica, Sicily and Italy" [1 sheet];
In draft, 2 March, 1908, from Perrédès to Jowett (and verso, 3 March, 1908, from Perrédès to Power): Perrédès has "read through the proofs of the History of Ergot", checking references as far as possible; Perrédès's report to Power of duties undertaken in February, including work on Ipomoea congesta which "has proved somewhat complex and particularly interesting" [1 sheet, holograph].
