Description

Letters to Browne relating to his Baptist Missionary Society posting to the Congo and to just prior to departure for Yakusu via Antwerp, Belgium, including from the BMS re arrangements, some letters of congratulation, one from Dr Clement Chesterman, some from young relatives, one about a possible problem with a female worker at the mission at Yoseki, also one from A G Mill stationed at Yakusu describing an opening at Isengi, dated Aug 1933. Plus two letters from Browne to his father, Feb and Apr 1936, one confirming he's passed the Tropical Medicine Diploma exam, Feb 1936 and one about the crossing to Antwerp, Apr 1936
