Biographical note

The Faculty of Physiotherapists was located at the Scottish Physiotherapy Hospital in Glasgow. Initially students received their training at the Anderson College of Medicine, but this was later moved to the University of Glasgow.

The Faculty was the first organised training centre for male students of physiotherapy in Scotland.

The Faculty amalgamated with the CSP, from which it had previously operated independently, in 1968.

The Hospital also incorporated the Institute of Human Kinetics.
