Correspondence

The correspondence was arranged in alphabetical order, mostly by correspondent. A few of the names are not those of the correspondent, but of individuals for whom Gaddum was asked to provide references or assess their work. A section of the correspondence series (G-M) appears to be missing, apart from a few letters which were misfield amongst the remainder of the series. The correspondence covers a wide range of professional matters, including attendance at conferences, references for colleagues, discussion of research and letters of thanks and congratulation.
