Description

From 23 August - 5 September 1991, the International Study Team on the Gulf Crisis conducted a survey of the impact of the Crisis on the health and welfare of Iraqi citizens. The project was funded by UNICEF, the MacArthur Foundation, the John Merck Fund and Oxfam-UK.

The report comprises of 8 reports including: 1. Child mortality and nutrition survey; 2. Health facilities survey; 3. Electrical facilities survey; 4. Water and wastewater systems survey; 5. Environmental and agricultural survey; 6. Income and Economic survey; 7. Child psychology survey; 8. Women survey.

Includes subfolder containing loose sheets of tables and graphs removed from report. These were originally inserted at the title page of Jean Dreze and Haris Gazdar's report on hunger and poverty in Iraq.
