Research and Information Group (RIG) papers, reports and surveys, as well as Education Committee correspondence and papers, Teachers' Panel and Breastfeeding Promotion Group. The material in the file was in some disarray and no attempt has been made to 'arrange' the file; some of the papers are annotated with where they should be filed, eg 'RIG box'.

Research and Information Group papers cover subjects including: life after childbirth, parents' needs for information and support, 'normal' births, papers relating to strategy and projects of the RIG, caesarean support . Also includes (blank) questionnaires compiled by RIG for mothers; a bibliography of works by the National Childbirth Trust (1990); Maternity Services Committee, and various resources lists, including "NCT Small Units Resources List, 1993", and a resource list for parents with disabilities.
