Contains 24 letters between medical publishers H K Lewis & Co. Ltd. and L S Penrose regarding his book On the Objective Study of Crowd Behaviour. The letters cover issues such as the renaming of the book, originally titled "On the Arithmetical Study of Crowd Behaviour"; the correction of proofs; arrangements for sending copies of the finished book to Penrose; and agreements to translate the book into French.



This item also contains letters from Penrose to the following recipients of his book:
