Reminiscences of former Burroughs Wellcome & Co employees

Covering the years c.1904-1970.

Including memories of the Snow Hill offices of Burroughs Wellcome & Co; the early days of the Wellcome Chemical Research Laboratories.

Miss Juster recalls her time in the Medicine Chest Department: Haile Selassie was a customer and the world's smallest medicine chest was made for Queen Mary's Dolls' House. Miss Juster also recalls the bombing of the Snow Hill buildings during the Second World War ( "...it was an odd feeling to go back to work on Monday 12th May 1941 to find Snow Hill Buildings spread all over Holborn Viaduct").
