Notes on Assay of Penicillin'.

Also includes bound reprint of the Society of Public Analysts and Other Analytical Chemists Physical Methods Group and Biological Methods Group 'Symposium on methods of penicillin assay: their purpose, scope and validity', originally published in The Analyst 1948, 72, pp.197-216, 244-257. This includes Heatley's paper 'Biological methods for penicillin assay. An introductory survey' (separate copies in D/1/3) as well as papers by E Lester Smith, W R Boon, Stella J Patterson and W B Emery, G H Twigg, C G Pope, C R Bond and O L Davies.
